The most representative, large and sought-after subspecies in Spain. Characteristic trophy in the shape of a lyre.
Known for its large body size and its long, open trophy in the shape of an “aeroplane”. It lives in the great mountains of Teruel.
It is characterised by its backwards horns in the shape of a lyre. It lives in the mountains of Sierra Nevada (Granada).
The smallest subspecies. Characterised by its long, closed horns. It lives mainly in the area of Ronda (Malaga).
