It is a unique species in the world and in Spain we enjoy four subspecies.
Four subspecies of mountain goat that offer the hunter different experiences, hunting environments and trophies, each of them found in different provinces of Spain.
A tough and demanding hunt, but at the same time we will enjoy a large number of entrances and sightings, selecting only animals that meet the characteristics of the permit.
The best time for trophy hunting is during the months of November, December and January, the time of the rut when it is common to see the big males fighting and enjoying the beauty of this moment.

GREDOS
The most representative, large and sought-after subspecies in Spain. Characteristic trophy in the shape of a lyre.
BECEITE
Known for its large body size and its long, open trophy in the shape of an “aeroplane”. It lives in the great mountains of Teruel.
SIERRA NEVADA
It is characterised by its backwards horns in the shape of a lyre. It lives in the mountains of Sierra Nevada (Granada).
RONDA
The smallest subspecies. Characterised by its long, closed horns. It lives mainly in the area of Ronda (Malaga).
GREDOS
The most representative, large and sought-after subspecies in Spain. Characteristic trophy in the shape of a lyre.
BECEITE
Known for its large body size and its long, open trophy in the shape of an “aeroplane”. It lives in the great mountains of Teruel.

Many foreign hunters come to our country with the aim of shooting the four males in a given number of days.
As they have a totally different morphology as far as horn is concerned and a different location and type of hunting, it has become a challenge and objective for both foreign and national hunters.
We have permits in the best areas to shoot measurable and representative animals. This has allowed us to obtain the Grand Slam of ibex on several occasions achieving the happiness of the hunter.
